Direct engineering, product design and development, race and pre-production program management and aftermarket operations. Responsible for directing over 50% of Katech's personnel within the manufacturing, engineering and engine build/test groups.

Instituted scheduling, processing, and quality processes, growing department from 2 to 8 machines. Created profit center, expanding productivity and capabilities. Developed 5-axis cylinder head porting and lathe capabilities. Instrumental in ISO 9001-2000 Quality System implementation and registration. ISO management member.

Managed program for Cadillac XV16 Concept Engine produced for the Cadillac Sixteen Concept car. From kickoff meeting to the first running on the dyno, design and manufacture of a complete running V16 engine spanned 7 months. Based off LS6 architecture with major modifications to the cylinder case design, purpose designed intake, sump, valve covers and dual throttles, the engine produced 1000 horsepower and 1000 ft-lbs torque. Perfect idle, driving characteristics and jewel like finish were additional requirements satisfied in the project.
