Service: Responsible for leading strategic plan for two major initiatives in the iSchool; Health Informatics and Computing-for-All programs.Health Informatics: Conducting a program review and developing a recruitment and curriculum transformation plan to revitalize the HI MS program to be more aligned with HIT career opportunities for students in analytical and product development roles. Computing-for-All: Integrating a 3-course undergraduate computer immersion program into the iSchool to provide a path for non-computer science students with an opportunity to learn computing. Developing new curriculum, innovative pedagogies, and program evaluation metrics to establish a continuous improvement program.Teaching: Developing new course material for Principles of Computing, Computing, Culture and Society, and Data Analytics courses. Developing new course material for Health Informatics program including revisions to several exiting courses and addition in a Product Development course for HIT.Scholarship: Expanding on dissertation research in collaborative technology-mediated workflow with journal papers and research grants in immersive computer engineering, and health information technology domains. Participating in funded research in the area for computing-for-all, investigating best practices in pedagogies for teaching computer science to non-majors in an accessible approach that is available to everyone.

Responsible for designing relevant curriculum, teaching and mentoring of students and driving transformation in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences through strategic relationships with solution vendors, service providers and enterprises. I will be leveraging over three decades of experience in the graphic arts industry to help establish a strategic roadmap that will equip our graduates to lead the industry transformation in design, production, integration and deployment of cross-media products and services.
