Casual Respiratory Collector

Casual role with hours ranging from 50-80 a fortnight, working in a range of conditions alone and in a team, at the following locations: Accredited Collection Centre, Quarantine Hotels, Wishart Collection Centre for transport workers. The duties of the role included:• Ensuring accurate collection, labelling and processing of respiratory samples.• Maintaining patient confidentially.• Providing a strong “customer-focused” service.• Maintain the location in a clean and satisfactory manner; Appropriate use and disposal of biohazard equipment, and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in the Policy and Procedure documents.• Record management with completion of all documents and records in accordance with ALCOA (attributable, legible, contemporaneous, and accurate) principles at all times.• Complying with the Quality Management System to ensure all mandatory requirements for NATA accreditation are met.• Liaising with the Respiratory Collection manager regarding any issues or problems e.g., WHS hazards or incidents.
