As Digital Marketing Coordinator for ALIGHT, I have been involved in social media management, design, and copywriting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. I grew ALIGHT’s YouTube channel from 620 subscribers to 1000 by March 2021. I also started the organization's first TikTok account and reached 174 followers by March 2021. I launched and developed a multimedia marketing campaign for the founder's new book Saturdays with Billy: My Friendship with Billy Graham that involved creating a cinematic promotional video, designing email campaigns and templates, and producing a variety of social media posts and graphics. I used Hootsuite daily to keep track of The Encouraging Word’s post analytics, popular demographics, and community engagement. Through this platform, I optimized The Encouraging Word’s social media content output to include daily posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and frequent uploads to their Youtube and Vimeo pages. I edited 5 audio sermons down to radio broadcast length each week under tight deadlines. Through Mailchimp, I scheduled email blasts, created email templates, and edited customized HTML code. I extensively used Adobe Creative Cloud for much of my work, including Photoshop, Audition, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. Additionally, I redesigned the entire website for the nonprofit's rebrand from its former name "The Encouraging Word" to "ALIGHT" including designing new website graphics, pages, and layouts.

As a work study for Rick Sparks, I performed maintenance on the audio production computers. I debugged them and regularly tested the microphones and Adobe Audition software to ensure they were functioning correctly on the computers.

As Station Manager of 95.5 "The Vibe" Vision Radio, I was responsible for coordinating publicity events with radio DJs, choosing format appropriate songs to add into the station's playlist, and loading said songs into the station's NextGen automation system. I also established the hot clock for the other DJs and produced liners, promos, and PSAs to be broadcast on-air. I engaged with the other student media leaders and collaborated on promoting on-campus events of note. I worked with our Social Media Coordinator, Sarah Wetherbie, to produce regular social media posts advertising show times, giveaways, and music changes.

I operated the soundboard, programmed songs, promos, and liners for my show "The Study Shack", and hosted Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00.

I worked with South Carolina Public Radio's reporters and Program Director John Gasque to find human interest stories in the South Carolina area, interview sources for those stories, and edit audio for those stories. I was also responsible for writing and voicing scripts for South Carolina Focus, a Palmetto State news column on South Carolina Public Radio's website.

As a cashier at Ingles, I learned to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds. My managers praised me for my strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to the company's high standards in customer service.

I closed the deli 5 days a week from 3 to 11, frying chicken, serving customers, and cleaning at nights. I boosted night time efficiency, leading to night time work finishing a half hour earlier than before.
