Agent Logic, an In-Q-Tel funded company, was acquired by Informatica in 2009. Our software, RulePoint, was built to allow non-programmers a means of conducting Complex Event Processing (CEP). Using a web-UI, RulePoint enabled analysts and investigators to construct rules which were subscribed to specific event/data streams. These rules, upon having their conditions met, would trigger alerts or other actions. Rules could be easily shared among other users. Rule could also correlate between live event streams and static databases. Additionally, rules could be run within temporal windows or specific geo-spatial boundaries.
