I have the privilege of being the computer science teacher at the fantastic environment that is Bay Creek Middle School in Gwinnett county, GA. I am also a student at the Tift College of Education at Mercer University where I study curriculum and instruction. My current projects involve creating resources for K-12 computer science teachers using Minecraft Education, Raspberry Pis, and Micro:bits. In my research and industry work, my goal was to make computers go faster! I also explore designs/architectures for new computing systems if the current hardware/tools present a bottleneck. I have worked on personal projects related to benchmarking, profiling, and optimizing applications over a variety of hardware resources (mostly multithreaded CPUs, Nvidia GPUs, and Xilinx FPGAs).I have interest and experience in software engineering, computer architecture, security, teaching, and research.
