My role is twofold as many roles in the Non-profit sector are. My duties include but are not limited to: HR department of one for a team +- 40. As a strategic business partner, I oversee Full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, development, and retention strategies.Provide advice around personnel issues and coaching.Manage HRIS to track credentials, licenses, training, and audits of files. Manage ESD, L&I, WPFML, LOA, processes to ensure compliance.Effectively manage employee benefits including renewal, bids, selection, open enrollment, application processing, questions, discrepancies, reconciliations, and vendor management.Administer LMS -ensure timely completion and compliance with required training. As the administrator of our data systems, I control access and perform training on the usage of the system. I generate mandatory reports used by the leadership team and funders to determine the outcomes and drive future decision-making.

I supported the Senior Retirement Plan Administrator to onboard clients to the BBSI multiple employer 401[k] plan. I provided audit support using data retrieval and analytical skills to ensure compliance with IRS regulations. This temporary position enabled me to learn more about plan options and the benefits of offering 401[k] retirement plans to employees, compliance issues, and administrative burdens.

As part of Training and Development, the document management team researches, designs, and prepares process documentation, system instructions, policies, and job aids. My contributions ensured business units(Customer Service, Nurses and MDs) had the most up-to-date and accurate technical and procedural documentation for teams to perform their jobs. I deployed appropriate document development methodologies, a formal style guide, and defined templates to ensure that documentation is easy to understand, concise, accurate, and relevant.

As part of Concierge customer service, I utilized Facets, a web-based CRM to support patients in a call center environment. This role included Benefits administration and claim processing. As a Senior representative, I participated in the leading, training, and onboarding of new team members.
