C. Brooke Silber joined BR+A in January 2019 as the new Lighting Studio Director, focused on developing lighting as an integral and creative element in our panoply of engineering solutions. She has been an architectural lighting designer focused on large-scale public and private projects including the award-winning New York State Capitol and Thurgood Marshall Courthouse. Brooke teaches at Parsons The New School for Design and is co-chair of the joint IES/InfoComm Lighting for Videoconferencing and Multi-Media Committee. Along with chairing a national IES committee, she has also chaired or participated in numerous local IESNY committees including the Education Committee. Prior to joining BR+A, Brooke partnered with her longtime mentor and grad-school advisor, Jan Moyer, and founded Jan & Brooke, Luminae in 2013.
