Hoe kunnen we (nog) beter rendement halen uit ons engineering proces?Wat zijn onze mogelijkheden om te voorkomen dat dezelfde problematiek in bijna elk project weer terugkeert? Ik zou willen dat er meer tijd besteed kon worden aan echte ontwerp uitdagingen inplaats van kopieëren en plakken, maar hoe..?Hoe is de doorlooptijd (van verkoop tot inbedrijfstelling) van ons produkt of project te verkorten zonder dat dit ten koste gaat van de kwaliteit? Is de kwaliteit daarbij zelfs te verhogen?! En hoe kan onze dienstverlening daarvan profiteren?Dat soort vragen. En de oplossing daarvoor. Daarbij kan ik u adviseren, uw organisatie begeleiden en uw medewerkers coachen. Geholpen door brede kennis en ervaring maar specifiek voor uw organisatie.

- In consultation with the department head / manager and using project data taking care of an optimal technical / organizational engineering. - Responsible for assessing applications, preliminary design, budget and pricing of projects in accordance with requirements and specifications. - Preparing, planning and monitoring projects to optimize project progress according to requirements, specifications and budget. - Responsible for the final design, preparation, planning and execution of projects in accordance with terms of reference and specifications. - Monitoring progress of the projects in a proper and timely deployment of personnel, materials and equipment. Outsourcing of activities. - Responsible for in time delivery, transfer and aftercare of projects. - Consult with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants. - Making analysis, forecasting and reports. - Taking steps to control the cost development.- Ensure knowledge transfer to the (junior) engineers. - Instructing and coaching of employees. - Initiator to make a study of the introduction of a multidisciplinary engineering environment (Eplan Engineering Center).

- Cross company responsible for the uniform organization and improvement of the processes Engineering&Design, optimizing data exchange with other processes and documenting them.- Initiator to make a study for the introduction of a Document Management System.

Het uitwerken en uitdragen van standaardisaties, in werkmethoden en systemen, boeit me al sinds ik bij hollander techniek begonnen ben.Als applicatiebeheerder houdt ik me bezig met het optimaliseren van het engineering systeem EPLAN P8: van het ontwerpen van macro's (en varianten), het koppelen van databases tot automatisering dmv data-engineering of scripting.

In deze functie ontwerp ik, vaak zelfstandig maar ook als lead-engineer, hardwarematige besturingen voor industriële installaties: van het toevoegen van een enkele transportband tot (bijvoorbeeld) complete koel -of afvalverwerkingsinstallatie, van 6 tot 6.000 Ampère.Met ondermeer de industriële normen in het achterhoofd een vraag van de opdrachtgever vertalen naar een zo goed mogelijk technisch ontwerp is telkens weer een uitdaging.
