Worked with Rolta AdvizeX to growing a portfolio of strategic services to transform the data center. Leveraged several principal specialties focusing on core data center platform, Microsoft, VMware, and Networking. Focused primarily in core data center infrastructure platforms with an emphasis on storage transformation. Operated as a "blended" skill requirement with combined efforts in the VMware/Server space. My role currently focused on two primary areas: 1) Delivery management of storage-related consultant/implementation tasks: This includes scoping the tactical phases of combined implementation projects, and leveraging our various SME's to strategically plan complex multiple-skillset projects, and to create crisp, complete Scopes of Work for project engagements. These projects usually included a combined set of roles including Storage, Compute, and Networking. 2) Strategic Consulting Services: The emphasis of the role focuses on the growing base of strategic consulting. Keying on a client's desire to transform the IT cost or platform model of their business, we usually defined a multi-phase process. I defined a five-step process to lead through the Identification & prioritization of initiatives, and a structured review of available options towards transformation. These steps continue once we settle on the right technology mix for our client where we engage in the innovation phases of right-sized architectural planning. From there, we engaged Rolta/AdvizeX's deep bench of technology specialists and consultants to deliver our vision through to implementation, and even through to remote managed services to complete the Plan/Build/Run methodology.
