I am an Agile evangelist. It is the truly Common Sense method for successful software/project development. Although I am a Certified Scrum Master, I have held other roles within a Scrum, such as Product Owner and APM on Scrum of Scrums. My 7+ years of experience working with clients like AT&T, Verizon Telematics, and IBM, has afforded me the opportunity to work on large complex projects for clients transitioning from Waterfall to Agile. While my experience with smaller corporate clients, has afforded me with the skills and access necessary to create and implement a "True Scrum". I have acted as the client’s visionary when in the Product Owner role. Responsible for the right product being delivered on or before time and under budget. Maintain business use requirements, as dictated by clients, stakeholders, and management. Create, maintain, prioritize, and groom the Product Backlog. Author User Stories. Define Release and Sprint Goals. Communicate continuously with the Scrum Team and Stakeholders realistic and attainable expectations for the Product Release. As a servant leader in the Scrum Master role, I manage the Scrum Process and ensure the team adheres to Agile development principles. Well versed in the Agile Manifesto. Helping the Scrum Team by removing impediments and external distractions. Facilitates meetings (sprint planning, retrospective, review, daily stand-up). Ensures a collaborative culture exists in the team. Assists the Product Owner and Team on improving the Agile development process over time. As Agile Coach/PM assists all members of the Scrum Development Team, Company Stakeholders, and Clients in understanding and adhering to the best practices of the Agile Methodology. Manage the budget for Scrum of Scrums. Ensure teams are meeting or exceeding their metrics for delivery and have all necessary support to achieve said goals. Manage to the ROI. Inform Stakeholders of progress on all projects of the SoS and manage expectations.
