Charlie began his career in marketing in 2004 when he became the Network Marketing Manager for Enactus (formerly SIFE) in Springfield, Missouri. From mid-2007 through 2011, Charlie was the co-owner of his own marketing & advertising services agency, Andorra Creative. After selling the business to a national firm, Charlie became the Public Relations Consultant for the City of Strafford. While there, he secured several major grants for the betterment of the city, including the purchase and complete renovation of a four-diamond baseball complex, and adding several miles of sidewalks, primarily leading to the city's school system. From April 2011 to March 2015, Charlie was part of the marketing team for Central Trust Company. His primary responsibility was to manage both the day-to-day activities as well as the long-term strategy of the trust company’s marketing department. He was integral in the creation the company’s first targeted marketing campaign in 2012 and helped launch a state-of-the-art website for the company that same year.Charlie earned the American Marketing Association’s designation of "Professional Certified Marketer" in 2013. The PCM® designation is earned by demonstrating a mastery of comprehensive and core marketing knowledge and principles. It requires successful completion of a rigorous exam, and submitting ongoing continuing education credits. From March 2015 through April 2018, Charlie served as Marketing Manager for Andy's Frozen Custard. His duties included franchisee relations, overall messaging, promotions, managing sponsorships, media buying, and much more. He led a team in all aspects of the company's marketing efforts.From May 2018 through October 2023, Charlie returned to his marketing/consulting roots, and stayed home with his two young sons. He spent the time traveling with his family and helping local businesses use their finite marketing budgets to make the maximum impact. Since November 2023, Charlie has been the Information Technology Assistant at Strafford Public Schools in Strafford, Missouri. He troubleshoots technology issues for staff, teachers, and students, and maintains the hundreds of Google Chromebooks issued to the students in the district. Charlie & his wife Melissa are native Tennesseans, and regularly visit their families in the Appalachian & Great Smoky Mountains. The couple has two young sons, and the family enjoys attending sporting events, biking, hiking, and camping in the Ozarks. Charlie serves at his church in an executive leadership role.
