After moving from Germany to the wonderful Swiss town of Lausanne in 2001, Carsten co-founded EDIFICOM SA (former Edifice Communications) in 2004. Since then Carsten has been developing the company's expertise in Network Infrastructure, IT-Security and Managed Services.Among his specialties is a project's full life-cycle from planning over execution until handover to operations. Carsten is goal-oriented, with a positive attitude and attention to details, without losing track of the big picture. Some of his work highlights include:- Various Data Center migration projects - Transitioning EDIFICOM from a classical Network Integrator to a Managed Service Provider- Multiple Wireless & Connectivity projects in the domains of Education, SME and distributed Enterprises- Certified Trainer for Aerohive Networks since 2012 - Former certified Trainer of Meru NetworksCarsten keeps himself updated and trained, most notably with the technologies and solutions of the following vendors:- Fortinet- Extreme Networks- Ruckus WirelessWhen not in the office, Carsten takes in the views and fresh air of the Swiss Alps by mountain bike or on cross-country skis. His outdoor history includes climbing Mont Blanc in France, skiing the 90km Vasaloppet in Sweden and mountain-biking the Grand Raid in Switzerland, to mention just a few.
