The mission of the American Writers Museum is to engage the public in celebrating American writers and exploring their influence on our history, our identity, our culture, and our daily lives.The American Writers Museum will:-Educate the public about American writers – past and present-Engage visitors to the Museum in exploring the many exciting worlds created by the spoken and written word-Enrich and deepen appreciation for good writing in all its forms-Inspire visitors to discover, or rediscover, a love of reading and writing-Through innovative and dynamic state-of-the-art exhibitions, as well as compelling programming, the American Writers Museum will educate, enrich, provoke, and inspire the public.

Directly oversees the following departments: Scheduling, Materials Management, Patient Registration, Accounts Payable, Insurance Verification, Charge Entry, Medical Records, Credentialing and Human Resources.Responsible for capital purchases and maintenance of all equipment and instrumentation throughout 3rd busiest ASC in Illinois in keeping with Infection Control policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards.Troubleshooter for all IT related software and hardware, in addition to being liaison with contracted webmaster, server farm, and hospital IT department.

The Manager of Resources and Infrastructure (MR/I) is primarily responsible for overseeing:• Credentialing and peer review for all physicians and allied health practitioners• General human resources functions including processing new hires and or terminated employees, benefits enrollment, maintaining paper and electronic human resources and payroll files, and overseeing the time management system and employee portal• Payroll processing, including preparing and processing 401(k) files• Equipment and instrument purchasing and maintenance, including capital purchases and contracts• Information technology support (hardware/network), primarily serving in role as liaison between EOSC and contracted IT vendor but also acts as first level support within EOSC• Monitors online presence of EOSC on such websites as Google and Yelp• Scheduling department oversight• Materials oversight
