• Advocated on issues including lower Snake River dams, migratory birds, tribal bison reintroduction, Arctic Refuge, and the border wall, including conducting legislative research, directly lobbying congressional staff, and coordinating with coalition partners. • Supported Endangered Species Act advocacy by scheduling meetings with more than 2 dozen participants, maintaining a 117th Congress outreach tracking sheet, and coordinating coalition email blasts.• Spearheaded the development of the annual Conservation Report Card by downloading and formatting vote data, drafting vote descriptions, and working with the Communications department to produce the final product.• Coordinated the creation of the quarterly Conservation Programs report to the Board of Directors by communicating key deadlines to several Vice Presidents, editing and synthesizing draft reports from seven departments, and drafting a list of highlights.• Wrote and distributed messages to hundreds of congressional staff on pressing issues using email campaign tools from CongressPlus and Bloomberg Government.• Scheduled meetings between dozens of activists and 17 congressional offices for a grassroots advocacy week. • Drafted two public sign-on petitions opposing regulations negatively impacting implementation of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) that garnered thousands of signatures.• Developed and implemented an organization-wide Advocacy Document Repository to preserve institutional knowledge.• Managed the timely and accurate submission of quarterly and semi-annual lobbying and contribution reports, including setting clear deadlines for staff, collecting and synthesizing relevant information, and filing the reports.• Administered the finances of the Government Relations department by compiling the annual budget request, preparing contracts for use with vendors, and processing invoices, expense reports, and wire transfers.
