I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Growing up, my idol was Steve Irwin, and as such I have always wanted to work with animals. This was a major factor behind my choice to pursue a degree in Biology. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, where i spent four years working in the Biology Department. I have multiple years of lab experience, as well as experience catching my own study organisms. Because our classes were so small (often as few as 12 people in lab sections), I have hands on experience conducting high level lab techniques and working with plants and animals. I am looking for a position that allows me to continue working directly with animals in a professional setting. I plan on applying to graduate school and obtaining a masters degree in the intermediate future, and after that I plan on working for a PHD.
