  I'm responsible for designing and implementing a curriculum of technology driven learning in the assigned subject matter areas that address the knowledge and skill needs of court employees including support staff , clerks, supervisors, managers, executives and the judiciary in the DC Court Systems, Superior Court and Court of AppealsBRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Develops long-term curriculum plans based on the Mission and Strategic Goals outlined in the Strategic Plan, the Division's Management Action Plans, and on the advancements occurring in the various Divisions of the D.C. Courts.Conducts needs analyses and surveys to determine technical training needs, competencies, and skill gaps.Develops media platforms for a variety of courses including computer based, blended learning and classroom environments.Provides support to training programs produced or hosted by the CET, including the major conferences held two to three times per year.Work with other divisions to ensure that the CET provides technology training support for operations and special initiatives.Initiates, administers, and supervises contracts with outside vendors and individual providers of instructional services incompliance with the Courts’ budgeting and procurement policies; serve as Contracting Officer's Technical Representative for technology and service contracts.Manages and maintains databases of classes, registrations, attendance, faculty, vendors, evaluation results and individual employee training records.Assists with the Court Visitors Program, the New Employee Orientation Program and the Mandatory Training for New Hires Program.
