My company, Expert Search Group, was acquired by DOAR in 2016. As Affiliate Manager for DOAR, my role was to provide a transition as well as training and guidance to the DOAR team as the company developed an expert witness research and recruiting platform.

Florida

Expert Search Group located and engaged expert witnesses and litigation consultants on complex commercial cases. ESG worked primarily with Am Law 100 firms and IP litigation boutique firms. We developed a unique billing model that charged a fixed flat fee designed to provide attorneys another option. I worked with both attorneys and experts to ensure only the most qualified experts and consultants were presented to our clients.

Principal architect for new Expert Advocacy division designed to create and leverage relationships with top tier expert witness professionals. Developed the processes and programs to build the company's expert community and leverage the relationships through recognition and rewards programs creating additional revenue opportunities for IMS-ExpertServices. Developed the EliteXpert program. The program focuses on building relationships with highly credentialed, experienced experts who consult and provide litigation support services for complex commercial litigation. Defined the programs, wrote procedures, process maps and created training and support materials for Advocacy and EliteXpert initiatives. Prepared and presented multiple PowerPoint presentations to senior management team.Developed a system to identify, secure and develop relationships with approximately 2000 highly credentialed, top tier experts in the Financial Services, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Pharmacological and Technology fields.

Portfolio Manager, Vice President, 2004 to 6/2005Responsible for underwriting local market commercial loans and servicing the bank’s loan portfolio. Worked with problem commercial loans and made collections calls as necessary. Worked closely with the bank’s commercial loan officers to decision credits and communicate with loan customers.Business Banker, Vice President, 2002 to 2004Responsible for calling on commercial bank customers and potential customers to develop relationships, and identify loan and bank services opportunities. Moved into the Portfolio manager position when the Business Banking department was dissolved.

Relationship manager for commercial and business banking customers with C&I loans and deposit relationships. Sold specific bank products and services including: cash management, deposit and credit products. Deepened banking relationships by identifying additional opportunities to provide financial solutions to commercial bank customers. Introduced bank partners and product specialists to commercial customers and facilitated client meetings and presentations. Selected Accomplishments: Loans exceeded $11MM in first year. Net Fee Income exceeded $200M during second year. Fee income was derived from various interest rate protection products (derivatives) and an Asset Transfer Tax Technology.

Founded a national marketing and graphic design company that serviced middle market and regional shopping centers. Development and management companies included: The Aronov Corporation, The DeBartolo Corporation, The Cafaro Company, The Hahn Corporation, Trizec Properties, Jim Wilson & Associates, Robert B. Aikens & Associates, as well as many others. Selected Accomplishments: Produced marketing programs and creative materials (publications, brochures, various printed materials, direct mail campaigns) recognized on a national basis through the International Council of Shopping Center’s annual MAXI awards. Developed marketing and growth strategies resulting in annual sales in excess of $2MM in fee and services income. The company received in excess of 100 local advertising and marketing awards for excellence in creative design and implementation.
