Carlos has over 16 years of experience in software management, architecture and development. Some of his areas of focus in technology include web 2.0, performance, artificial intelligence, finance and the stock exchange market.He has expertise in development and operations software lifecycles such as ITIL, MOF, MSF, RUP, UML and others. After graduating as a software engineer from Costa Rica’s top academic center for technology, the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica, he was hired by BAC, a leading financial institution in Florida and Central America. He then worked as a Microsoft technologies consultant in the software migration company Artinsoft, where I helped implementing Java Language Conversion Assistant that was included as part of Visual Studio 2003.Carlos also worked for five years in the Costa Rican Stock Exchange Market as software development manager in charge of developing and maintaining critical enterprise applications to manage $150 million daily. Before joining Clinverse, he was the .NET software architect in a chief outsourcing firm with more than 100 software engineers where he designed the architecture and led the initial implementation for more than 20 diverse projects.In 2009, Carlos started as Software Architect working with Clinverse founders Tim Immel and Steve Ayala in every early stages of the company, and became Director of Software Engineering opening and managing Clinverse offices in Costa Rica with 20+ employees, managing software designs, projects, releases, presenting products in international shows and to customers, creating patents, writing SOPs, and assisting in funding efforts with venture capital firms.
