Production/Operations Engineer

- Managed production wells (SRs, ESPs and flowing wells) and injection wells in a Water/CO2 flood using surveillance and modeling software - Supervised casing inspection logs, cement bond logs, production profiles, injection profiles, and coiled tubing units- Designed 80+ procedures for maintenance, enhancement and P&A workovers from $25K to $450K including pattern reviews and economics - Recompleted wells as part of field pattern change by deepening existing producers and converting other producers to injectors. Recompletions included running expandable liners, stimulation jobs, and changing artificial lift- Managed completion of 11 new drills. Provided cost estimates for completion of SR, ESP, and injection wells and on-site supervision for rigless cased-hole logging and perforating- Sized artificial lift equipment for new wells and evaluated lift performance on existing production wells including: pumping unit/rod string design, ESP sizing, and tubing sizing - Managed ($2 MM) wellhead integrity project to replace non-integral injection wellheads installed near residences - Tracked rig pre-work, coordinated rig schedule for 8 workover rigs, and recorded non-productive time- Forecast annual OPEX workover budget- Delivered presentation on “Challenges of Operating in a CO2 Flood” at the CO2 Conference in Midland, TX (2013 & 2015)- Mentored new Operations Engineer and Summer Engineering Intern
