• Lead conceptualization & finalize the creation of product development line-plans based on the collaborative efforts of my team to meet vendor seasonal needs • Consecutively curate presentations & lead seasonal on-site meetings for 5 key vendors ranging from national brands (Southern Living), department store (Nordstrom) to big box retailers (Wal-Mart)• Travel to supplier facilities as department representative to lead in problem resolution, production management & new supplier scouting• Collaborate with sales, merchandising team members & management to create original private label product to meet customer expectations & deadlines & company objectives including but not limited to exceeding margin goals & increasing sales

• Manage & track complete development lifecycle; take ownership of artwork development schedules & overall coordination of design activities relative to cross-functional teams• Source raw materials - with a keen understanding of textiles, manufacturing costs, construction & functionality • Attends & participates in design meetings, aligning & preparing content for review• Travel domestically & internationally for customer meetings, trend-research, sourcing & development

• Participate in the conceptual development of directional product lines including pitching original ideas based on market research• Interpret inspirational research & trend direction from creative management to identify & capitalize on market opportunities to drive sales & fulfill specific customer needs • Cad & submit detailed Adobe Illustrator artwork & accurate corresponding Excel sample request spreadsheets to factories• Proof specs & all required approval sample documentation for material, design, sizing & packaging accuracy prior to passing onto Production for advanced development

Obtain knowledge of core customer, target market, and demographics of each brand and post compelling content with the intent of engaging a multitude of audiences on various platforms—with a heavy focus on Instagram, the company website and email blast.Utilize Adobe Photoshop to touch up digital imagery of brand fashion and product images.Design and lay out eye-catching fashion images for the website, email blasts and all other social media avenues as they relate to the brands.Responsible for the layout, design and regular maintenance of the company website by utilizing artistic and fundamental design principles that reflect an image that is consistent with the company.

Responsible for driving and maximizing individual brand business for 7 major retail brands with more than 200 retailers across 7 states in the Southern region, while mindfully managing distribution for all accounts.Research account database, identify key accounts and generate interest in our brand assortment by establishing effective buyer relationships with creative and thoughtful communication skills.Attend major ready-to-wear markets in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas for each season to present and sell to buyers.As a brand specialist, communicate directly with brands to discuss, develop and edit collections each season to reflect the needs of our territory
