I am a Chemical Engineer, graduated in 2011 from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia. I completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering, evaluating the inhibitory effect of nitrogen containing compounds on hydrocracking catalysts. During my PhD, I had the opportunity to undertake two research internships: one at the University of Lille, UCCS, where I conducted quantum mechanical calculations, and another at ENSICAEN with the LCS group, help in the implementation of a methodology to measure in-situ adsorption of probe molecules in the liquid phase on a catalyst pellet using ATR-IR.In 2018, I began working as Engineer at the Ecopetrol refinery in Barrancabermeja, in the Catalytic Cracking department, where I remained for over three years. In January 2021, I started a postdoctoral position at the University of Pau with the international IC2MC group. There, I had the opportunity to participate in a collaborative project with the University of Rouen and the University of Florida, developing advanced data processing software for chromatography coupled with FTICR MS.In 2023, I began working at the University of Pau as a Research Engineer, supporting the Open Science project for the implementation of best practices in software development. Finally, in November 2023, I started my role as a Cadre de Laboratoire at Dielix SAS, part of Sarpi-Veolia, where I am manager of the Research and Development service.
