My primary objective in this role is to engage diverse stakeholders to develop and execute strategies to address identified “pinch points” along a predetermined developmental educational pathway. I am responsible for managing the support and oversight of several task forces charged with providing “wraparound supports” to students and families and implementing identified strategies around key priority outcomes (e.g. Kindergarten Readiness, 3rd Grade Reading, Post-Secondary Enrollment, etc.). My primary functions include but are not limited to:● Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team● Oversee Task Forces and wraparound student support program components in order to establish and maintain momentum, achieve objectives and complete deliverables● Develop and cultivate relationships with community stakeholders, including leaders in education, business, faith, nonprofit, philanthropic, and civic sectors.● Provide direction to teams of partners from a variety of community agencies● Promote and engage in data-informed decision-making

Curator of Cross-Sector Collaboration. Working to support medium to large school districts, non-profit organizations and city and state government to support cross-sector initiatives to support academic and well-being outcomes for youth.

The mission of the Equity and Inclusion Unit is to educate and empower the greater Louisville community to advocate for historically disadvantaged populations in JCPS. Our unit supports over 100,000 students (who speak 109 languages) and over 14,000 JCPS faculty and staff. Our unit's functions include but are not limited to:● Facilitating professional development for JCPS certified and classified staff;● Oversight of JCPS minority and women owned business enterprise (M/WBE) initiatives;● Coordination of JCPS Minority Teacher Recruitment Program (MTRP) as well as Alternative Certification Elementary and Secondary (ACES) Program;● Reporting and analyzing data which identifies academic and disciplinary data between historically disenfranchised students in JCPS;● Coordination of BLOCS Partnership which provides quality Out of School time activities in collaboration with Louisville Metro Government, Metro United Way and the Alliance for Youth.

The M.O.R.E. Initiative is a targeted program whose goal is to close the achievement gap that persists between African-American males in Cincinnati Public Schools and their counterparts. Through a comprehensive academic and social agenda, we will provide a safe space for these young males to examine themselves, their relationships with friends and family and ultimately to identify for themselves their own place in our world.The role of District Coordinator includes but is not limited to:● Developing academic and social development curriculum for school-based initiative based in 10 Cincinnati Public Schools buildings;● Provide day-to-day management of 25 member initiative advisory committee, 10 club advisors, 300 youth and over 20 agency partners;● Collaborate with local universities, education foundations and other key stakeholders to develop cultural competency professional development training for CPS district professionals.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:● Serve as a catalyst for the ongoing growth and development of FOTC-Cincinnati’s programs in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including annual expansion of program support and numbers of children served by communicating the vision and mission of our organization.● Provide strategic leadership, management and a commitment to helping the most vulnerable children in our community succeed are needed. ● Cultivate and sustain relationships and work effectively with a wide variety of constituencies. This includes current and potential donors, foundations and government sources, and local business and community partnerships. ● Develop and implement FOTC-Cincinnati’s Strategic Plan. Guide the development of organizational goals and objectives which tie to long-range strategic planning, growth and progress of FOTC’s work in the community.

Managing and Coordinating relationships between K-8 students, tutors and community partners.

● Responsible for development and implementation of all NURFC youth programming initiatives including allocation of nearly $300,000 annual budget.● Director of Freedom Stations Program; an initiative linking over 35 Underground Railroad sites and African-American cultural centers around the United States.● Represent NURFC at large and develop strong working relationships with business representatives, media outlets, educational institutions, community boards, advocacy and civic groups, and local, state and federal government officials.
