I am currently a Licensed Psychologist and Owner of Maple Leaf Psychology in Traverse City, Michigan. I provide individual therapy, biofeedback training, crisis intervention, integrated mental health services, and some assessment services to adults ages 18 and up in the greater Grand Traverse area. I spent 4 years working at Integrative Health Consultants in Grand Rapids, Michigan providing similar services. I have experience working with college students at Iowa State University's Student Counseling Service providing individual, group, career exploration, and biofeedback services to members of the ISU community, as well as 1 year of experience working at Michigan State University.     As part of this position, my experience can be summarized in a few categories. The main duties shared over the years included leading group biofeedback orientations and outreaches for the Iowa State University (ISU) community, providing additional services to individuals who need more individualized support using biofeedback procedures, and performing administrative support for the front desk staff at the ISU Student Counseling Service (SCS).My position as the Outreach Coordinator (August 2014 - May 2016) had additional expectations. I was the first contact ISU community members had to coordinating outreaches. Through my time as the coordinator, I increased the visibility of the ISU Biofeedback Center by reaching out to various groups on campus. This culminated in annual outreach experiences with several campus-run conferences, including Eating Disorders Awareness Week and First-Year Institute. I was also the Marketing Coordinator from August 2015 to May 2016. I was expected to produce biofeedback brochures, bookmarks, and business cards, as well as maintain the accuracy of information on the Center's webpage. My Technology Coordinator position (August 2014 - August 2015) had duties specific to maintenance and support of hardware and software concerns. I was responsible for contacting out biofeedback sensor supplier with questions regarding faulty sensors, consultation for sensor refurbishment, and ordering new sensors. I coordinated computer updates and researched new software that may be used in the Center. Additionally, I created a biofeedback application list for client, staff, and student use as a resource for learning about biofeedback, maintaining skills learned through orientations, and introductions to biofeedback as a mindfulness practice.
