Technical leadership role responsible for the security of the Defiant, Inc. network and data for all brands, reporting directly to the CEO. Leading and providing guidance and recommendations to secure the infrastructure as well as maintain PCI DSS, GDPR & CCPA compliance. Implemented and followed NIST Cybersecurity & Privacy frameworks. Develop and provide security training to employees and provide organizational security policies & procedures to be adopted, followed and enforced. Responsible for guiding teams throughout the organization as security subject matter expert on other products in use and in development.

Assisting many small business owners with website and web server security. Main focus was post incident response - website recovery and website malware removal on multiple platforms (wordpress, joomla, drupal, oscommerce, plain HTML,etc) as well as removal of server level code injections and rootkits. In addition, I also performed penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, web server security measures (install WAF's, IDS's, update servers, install security patches, etc). I also provided basic security education to my customers to help them mitigate additional security issues in the future.

Xeologic, Inc was merged into Scurit, LLC. Our company's main focus is Web Application Security Solutions and development for small to medium size businesses.
