When I started journalling at eight years old, ecstatic about getting my first sparkly cat diary, I had no idea that words would become so important to me. Even before landing my first editorial role with only a handful of creative pieces I'd felt proud enough to showcase, I had no experience in the field other than my passion for it.Since then, I've expanded my skill set (Writing Hilarious Diary Entries is not an actual marketable skill, apparently... Thanks, LinkedIn) and explored different ways of bringing stories to life through various mediums—including print, digital, and web design. I now have four years of editorial experience, along with three years of design experience, and am still constantly learning. My career thus far has taken years of discovery and growth, and few things in my life have followed a conventional path. But there's beauty in the unknown, and I think that makes the journey so much more exciting.
