Menlo Park, Ca (Field Site: Cathlamet, Wa)

Assisted with research of sedimentary geologic features that provided evidence of a Cascadia Subduction Zone tsunami, which occurred approximately 300 years ago along the Pacific coast of Washington and Oregon.· Discovered and surveyed liquefaction features, using an alidade and stadia rod, along the lower Columbia River· Drafted geologic maps and graphs from the collected data using MS Excel· Drove a 10-foot outboard motorboat and canoed to remote sites
