Chris Chandler was a member of the executive team of GenSpring Family Offices, a multi-family office providing wealth management and family office advisory services to ultra-high net worth families. Chris had oversight and responsibility for the quality of clients investment experience and implementation throughout GenSpring’s network of family offices. He was one of few key makers responsible for shaping firm wide guidance around asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction.

Chris was a Senior Investment Partner for GenSpring Family Offices. Chris served as a Senior Investment Advisor for GenSpring’s southeast region of offices providing management oversight and support to the local family offices and the investment advisors. In this role Chris had oversight and responsibility for the quality of the investment experience and deliverables to client families. Chris maintained an active role with the Investment Advisory Center as a member of the Portfolio Construction and Implementation Committee and Manager Selection Committee. Chris was also active on the acquisition team that evaluates integrates potential new partners.

• Consulted investment committees of small/mid size pension plans, foundations, endowments and non profits to design, implement and monitor investment strategies to meet stated long-term objectives, Managed 14 client relationships with over $1.7 billion in assets • Developed optimal asset allocation strategies based on cash flow analysis, asset/liability studies, optimization models, monte carlo simulation to meet clients’ risk and return objectives • Ensured that fiduciaries are fulfilling their obligations and oversight responsibilities, acted as catalyst for change, built consensus for policy and investment strategy issues. • Created and implemented statements of investment policy and guidelines that provide guidance, structure and continuity in the investment strategies and governance issues • Member of Investment Manager Research Committee responsible for researching domestic small and mid cap equity, private equity and hedge fund managers. Directed over 60 investment manager searches, conducted over 20 onsite investment manager due diligence trips • Researched and wrote papers on prevalent investment trends that included international investing, private equity and hedge fund due diligence, 401(k) plan sponsors, plan provider searches
