- AI Framework Development: Improved AI frameworks such as Pytorch, ONNXRuntime, and Horovod for better utilization and compatibility in our GPU architectures, leading to enhanced performance.- Deep Learning Models Verification: Worked on verifying DL models and fundamental operations, collaborated with compiler and driver teams to address issues in our proprietary SDK.- Performance Optimization: Used tools to do performance profiling, implemented different optimization strategies in C++ and CUDA, resulting in many times speedup for models in our GPUs.- 2 Chip Generations Contribution: Played a key role in the development of 2 chip generations from initial stage to commercial delivery. Proposed and deployed interim solutions to ensure software functional integrity and to avoid hardware design flaws.- Customer Engagement: Developed testing programs in Python for AI frameworks and applications in continuous integration system Jenkins. Provided support for clients, resolving issues on both x86 and ARM platforms.

- Research Project, worked with 2 professors to implement a novel model of deep neural network by integrating theories and ideas from neuroscience and computer science.- Designed and implemented a new architecture of deep neural network. Based on deep-learning frameworks TensorFlow, added lateral and feedback connections on DL models and compare performance in C++ and Python, explored the impact of brain-like recurrentarchitecture on DL models.- Built a brain-like model, designed, coded, trained and optimized pure feedforwardmodel and our recurrent model, provided a new perspective on understandingbrain function for neuroscientists.
