I have a passion in clinical research and human nutrition. In the past I have been a part of a large-scale clinical toddler nutrition study investigating the relationship between nutrient intake with biomarker and cognitive/behavioural outcomes. In this role , I have been able to take part in the recruitment of study participants as well as research staff, schedule visits and build rapport with over 100 families. My experience included assisting in submissions to the Research Ethics Board via RISe, administering cognitive assessments like the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, data entry and analysis using iMedidata, ESHA Food Processor REDCap and Excel, among various administrative tasks.Currently, I am the Orthopaedic Trauma Research Coordinator at VCHRI working with a team of surgeons to discover optimal treatment for a variety of different fracture cases.
