I have done an advanced orthopaedic training (clinical fellowship) in joint reconstruction in France, UK, and canada for almost 3 years between 2011 and 2013. After 2 years of senior consultant work in the Bordeaux Academic Hospital (France), I was given the opportunity to move to London and be part of the Musculo skeletal Laboratory (MSK lab) alongside Professor Justin Cobb. I am now working as a Consultant (locum position) at Charing Cross Hospital (Imperial College London NHS trust) in the hip and knee replacement team. In parallel I hold a position of Honorary Senior Lecturer and undertake my research at the MSK lab.My elective practice is exclusively focused on Hip & Knee reconstruction, either primary or revision. My work in joint reconstruction as well as my research projects are exclusively on joint reconstruction and mainly oriented towards a “patient specific implant positioning” taking into account the Spine-Hip relations for cup positioning in Hip replacement, favouring hip resurfacing and unicomprtimental knee replacement when possible, and working on the Kinematic Alignment technique for total knee replacement. I also work on the development of per-operative quality control tool of implant positioning using technique of laser-scanning or augmented reality.
