Accountable for the implementation and maintenance of business processes that support the firm’s strategic objectives in addition to managing the Content Moderation Team. Oversee the complete quality of all aspects of the products OSTK offers its customers. Assuring that the content on the product page is correct and complete, that the products are being delivered to the customer in an acceptable manner, and that the product received by the customer meets or exceeds their expectations. Provide leadership and management for the PQA Team. Sustain existing processes while developing new methodologies for detecting and preventing poor quality.

Oversee and manage the daily operations and processes for 15+ employees. Accountable for the implementation and maintenance of business processes that support the firm's strategic objectives. This involves building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customer's (i.e. buyers, suppliers and other internal divisions) to deliver intuitive products and services aimed at strengthening organization, with the ultimate goal of providing products with sufficient content to drive sales growth, reduce customer care contacts and returns.

Assisted in selecting merchandise and negotiating prices for the merchandising department in the Footwear & Accessories categories. Reviewed incoming product offers to ensure quality and selection meet OSTK requirements, daily communication with vendors, coordinated receiving schedules, and followed through with moving the product to the website. Monitored daily sales, reviewed prices and margins, monitored competitor’s websites to ensure OSTK had the lowest pricing and attended trade shows and conducted cold calls to identify and develop new suppliers.

Act as the liaison between Merchandising and the warehouse along with other divisions within the organization. Managed PO discrepancies, research various product information for buying, receiving, accounting and returns, and monitor the amount of offsite inventory.

Responsible for accurately and proficiently processing customer returns within a timely manner. The first year processing returns was in the jewelry cage and that required careful inspection to ensure the customer returned the same item they ordered. Then I moved out into the main returns area and processed returns for all other categories outside of the jewelry cage. I also assisted with the shipping department; responsibilities included picking and packing customer's orders accurately in a timely manner.

Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries regarding products and services, handle and resolve any complaints or concerns that the customer may have and place orders for customers.
