Casey Claypool, Marketing & Development Manager, joined Citilink in October 2022 and stepped into her current role in January 2023. She’s spent several years serving in the nonprofit space, learning about issues in our community. As a root cause change agent, she’s driven to make broad-reaching impact by addressing core challenges. A constant throughout was the thread that transportation, specifically public transportation in Fort Wayne, was lacking, a driving force for food struggles, homelessness, and access to livable wages or care for mind and body. Believing that public transit is both a key challenge and our greatest opportunity, Casey excitedly stepped into her role to serve alongside a group committed to linking people to life.Casey started her world in Elkhart, IN but considered herself a Michigander until she relocated to Fort Wayne in 2007. She is a first-generation high school and college graduate. Casey likes to joke that she is the OG of online dating, having met Nick on Yahoo! Personals in 2006. Together, they have a vivacious son named Atlas and a dog named Evey, though somehow dog hardly describes her. Casey loves legal dramas both on screen and in books, music of all flavors, getting creative in her craft room, going for walks, and attempting to make her world a living musical.
