I co-authored the terms of the transition agreement to ensure the inclusion of all IT assets and systems to be transitioned. I worked to identify the redundant systems and moved forward with transition strategies to implement global systems to replace the originals. All were carried out with minimal disruption to the daily business operations.

I developed and mentored teams dedicated to the support of all aspects of IT from infrastructure to enterprise systems. Many systems required regulatory validation and coordination with multiple process owners to ensure the design met their business requirements.

The initial focus was on infrastructure and then progressed to implementing the MES, LIMS, CMMS, and QMS systems. At later stages, I implemented and led teams for system deployment and infrastructure support.

I successfully designed and maintained redundant operations for email, Citrix MetaFrame farms, and general server infrastructure for 25 global sites and two datacenters.

I was recalled during my second semester of college with only three days’ notice to report for duty to support Operation Desert Storm. After reorientation training, I deployed to Saudi Arabia and was stationed at a log-base only two miles from the Iraqi border.

I originally started my service refueling helicopters in field-based forward operating bases. I quickly was entrusted with mail-clerk duties at S1 brigade headquarters. This led to my implementation of deploying the first PC-based computers for the brigade and several unique solutions that drove efficiencies for S1 operations. My enlistment was extended to deploy as part of the invasion force to liberate the country of Panama during Operation Just Cause.
