As a billing vendor for 14 companies in the midwest, I am responsible for selling of our billing system, reviewing all state/federal regulations to ensure our companies are following the guidelines of our government, and training our companies on our software. Participated on team to plan and execute the 1st Time Warner Cable Carrier Access Billing cycle for switched services. Implemented CABS billing by territory. Worked with billing vendor Intec to set-up mileage, tandem switch terminations, tandem switch facility and USOCs. Evaluated all data collected from Frontier Communications, AT&T, CenturyLink, Verizon, FairPoint Services and Qwest. Coordinated the process of sending minutes-of-use to Intec. Downloaded files from carriers, verified files and uploaded to Intec. Performed problem resolution with carriers if MOU did not meet historical measures.Processed incoming and outgoing bills.Disputed incoming invoices for incorrect billings. Disputed $1.3 million and won $967K which is 71%. Processed adjustments. Prepared accounting and financial documents for analysis. Testedand implemented changes to any new programming change. Supervised day-to-day processing of CDG CABS bills for switched and special services. Researched unpaid CABS bills that were two years old. Worked with CDG to gather data and determine collection opportunity.Worked with the programmers to set up test environment for verifying changes to the CDG system. Coordinated the collection of data required to accurately bill special, switched and UNE services. Collected data including USOCs, mileage, inter/intra state guidelines, tandem terminations and facility as well as all circuit meet points, etc. Coordinated parallel billings, compared invoices and resolve defects. During my time at Illini Hospital, I was in the admitting office and then the collection department. Then I was promoted to Systems Education Coordinator. I was in charge of 11 physicians offices front office staff. I would train them on how to use the software and the scheduling package. I would review over admitting sheets to make sure that they were accurate and that we had everything needed to bill the Insurance Companies. I also became proficient in ICD-9 and CPT coding.

I worked with customers and helped organize what jobs needed to be done on that day.
