He’s also been an entrepreneur since the age of 10 when he picked and sold wild blackberries and apples from a stand in front of his house (on an island in Washington State).When he was in business school, he got a job as one of the earliest employees in one of the fastest growing startups in the Southeast. He was promoted to leadership, and within 5 years the company had grown to nearly 500 employees. Experiencing this rapid growth at such a young age allowed him to have a front row view of the good, the bad, and the ugly of growing fast.Since then he’s been obsessed with helping organizations grow in healthy ways, in ways that bring flourishing to every team member. He is a strong proponent of business as a force for good in the world. Chris has spent hundreds of hours in boardrooms guiding executive teams to clarity. From Fortune 500 companies to small non-profits, from luxury travel to the construction industry, he has seen the common needs of any organization to have a compelling vision, lead with clarity, develop systems for scale, and elevate people. Chris also spent several years building a non-profit in Nepal and has a penchant for running up mountains.He and his family currently spend most of their time between Los Angeles, CA, and Greenville, SC.
