With extensive leadership experience in events, conferences, and publishing, Chris has worked with some of the largest exhibition and publishing companies in the United States. Most recently, Chris served as EVP of Emerald, a leader in building market platforms that integrate live events and media into uniquely rich experiences. In this role he was a member of the leadership team, responsible for recruiting and building teams while leading the strategic planning and execution of a portfolio of live events, conferences, and digital properties. Since leaving Emerald in May of 2018 after helping take the business public the previous year, Chris spent quality time with family and partnered with his wife, Christine, in unique real estate investments. Additionally, he consulted on local running and golf events as well as sharing his insights with investors interested in the exhibitions industry. Directly managed 80 professionals in 3 offices.* Successfully assisted in the $350M acquisition of GLM in 2014 and led the integration of that business into Emerald.* Assumed responsibility for Nielsen Business Media's Los Angeles based-business in 2008 and within three years restructured team, repositioned the flagship event, and grew revenues from $39M to $50M.* Oversaw the integration of PGA Golf Exhibitions into Reed in 2000 and ran the $20 million business through 2004
