I work full time under the Ohio Organizing Collaborative as a Digital Organizer for the Ohio Student Association, an organization that’s been building power for college students in Ohio since 2012. I'm a proud Cincinnatian passionate about pairing my skills in writing, design, and organizing with my love of grassroots movement work. As someone driven by social change, my work centers around strengthening the political power of young people as we create a future that works for all of us.My passion for organizing took root during my time in Miami’s Urban Cohort at Peaslee Neighborhood Center in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. My experience with community work ranges from student teaching youth participatory action research (YPAR) in Cincinnati public schools, mapping air pollution in the Slavic Village neighborhood in Cleveland, advocating for affordable housing through Cincinnati Action for Housing Now’s Issue 24 campaign, to organizing poetry open mics at Women Writing for (a) Change and farming garlic in rural Liberty, KY.I graduated from Miami University with my Master of Arts in geography, Bachelors of Arts in both political science and geography & sustainable development, and certificates in fostering just communities and GIScience.
