VOO is the leading cable company in the south of Belgium offering quad play products. After defining the product specifications (incl. award winning Videowall feature) and choosing the right partners for the next generation TV product, I took over the role of Program Director, managing the whole program implementation during two years. This meant coordinating internal and suppliers teams until the birth of the new decoder. .evasion (commercial branding of the project) was successfully launched, delighting customers and reaching significant sales figures. .evasion was nominated two times in international innovation awards and won the "Industry Innovator of the Year" award from Digital TV Europe.

VOO is the leading cable company in the south of Belgium offering quad play products. Mission was to maintain current TV product portfolio and to expand it following new TV consumption schemes. This led to the launch of an entry level HD zapper box (VOObox) to accelerate digital TV adoption, an award winning multi-screen solution (VOOmotion) and the definition of a new high end decoder (to become .evasion).

BeMyApp events are about stimulating the mobile scene in Belgium by getting people together and develop mobile applications in 48hours. I launched the very first BeMyApp hackaton event in Belgium. The event was a very big success with more than 100 active participants and 250 people attending the various workshops. Maybe some more events will come in the future...

Within Streetpage, we strongly believe social media can enhance real life contacts between individuals. That's why we developed the Streetpage website, enabling micro local contacts between neighbours. After 2 years of a passionate adventure, I am now non operational anymore within Streetpage, keeping however an investor position.

Part of Rossel Group, Le Soir is one of the leading french speaking daily newspaper in Belgium. The main objective of the mission was to define and implement strategy for the new information consumption shift brought by smartphones (and yet to come tablets). This led to the successful launch of mobile apps on various platforms, reaching new audiences and developing new advertising revenue streams for the company. Today, Le Soir apps are still the most successful info apps among french speaking people in Belgium.

Part of Rossel Group, Sudpresse is the leading french speaking daily newspaper in Belgium. The mission was to extend their leadership from paper to web and mobile. This led to a global change management mission within the editorial teams, followed by the launch of a new website and a mobile branded reseller. When leaving for the next mission, Sudpresse was market leader on the web, while the new mobile subscription was generating significant new revenue streams for the company.

Numericable is a small Belgian cable operator in Brussels. Short mission to recommend and implement churn reduction quick wins.

RTL Belgium is the first commercial TV channel in French speaking part of Belgium. My team and I were in charge of non advertising based revenue streams, including: distribution deals with telecom/cable operators, branded reseller mobile operations, homeshopping and call tv programs,…

Proximus (former Belgacom) is the incubent telco in Belgium. I started to work on the IPTV initiative Proximus TV (former BelgacomTV) prior to the launch. From content deals to product positioning, passing by user interface... it was kind of a startup experience leading to launch of a fantastic disruptive product. Today, Proximus TV is recognized by the industry as one of the international success stories in IPTV.

Skynet is the first Internet portal in Belgium. Together with my team, we were in charge of developing the content and interactive services of the portal.

Netbel.be was a private Internet portal (not ISP linked) gathering all the key services users needed on the Internet (search, news, sports, movies,...). Netbel quickly became a very successful website and a profitable company. Several innovative services were launched on Netbel, the most notable one being the first text message content alerts in Belgium (soccer scores).From creating the company to growing it, it was a wonderful startup adventure.
