I am seeking a job as middle school science or social studies teacher in grades 4-9. I will have my Bachelor's of Science in Middle School Education at the end of April 2016. Currently I am finishing up my education at UC and full time student teaching at Delhi Middle School. In addition I volunteer as a reading tutor in the Whiz Kids program at Crossroads West-side Church and work at LaRosa's Guest Service Center to help finance my education. I reside currently reside in the West-side of Cincinnati and am a proud Oak Hills Alumni. I love working with middle school students and forming great student-teacher bonds. My goal as a teacher is not only that my students succeed academically, but also are able to grow into mature and responsible young adults. I also promote a positive atmosphere so students can feel comfortable coming to me about any problems they are encountering. My work as a student teacher has provided me with great experience in differentiating lessons for all learners, co-teaching, working with standards-based grading, and incorporating technology into the classroom. I am a life-long learner; I am always open to learning new techniques and expanding my knowledge. I am open to working at any type of school and with all types of learners.
