I have participated in representing clients in Atlanta, Ga., and Washington, D.C.., in civil and criminal litigation matters, many involving the defense of media entities (TV stations, newspapers) against complaints alleging libel and slander.

I launched a news aggregator site that gathers headlines on gay news, politics and entertainment from around the world. There you can create your own gay newspaper, viewing only those stories about the subjects or geographic areas you care about most, as well as receive email alerts whenever you want them.

I co-founded and was responsible for editorial content for a group of newspapers and magazines for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender readers. Mid-level associate in the Trial Practice Group working primarily on large complex litigation. Pro-bono work included successful appeal before the Eleventh Circuit as counsel appointed to represent Vietnamese immigrant in federal habeas plaintiff appealing convictions for murder and armed robbery.

Junior associate in the Litigation Department working primarily on complex litigation, including representation of the National Football League and National Hockey League. Pro bono work included six months with the Neighborhood Legal Services Program and early-stage representation of the first "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" challenge to reach the U.S. Supreme Court.
