I have worked in the commerical archaeology sector for five years. Through these years I have worked at three leading archaeological companies within the UK and have been able to rise to the level of archaeological supervisor by developing numerous skills and gaining varying experience. This includes: Technical archaeological excavation and recording skills.Technical geopositioning survey and GIS software skills. Experience of managment of personell and on site operations as well as projects of varying sizes.Experience navigating complex tasks and managing strict deadlines. Experience liasing with management, contractors and council authorities in matters of heritage conservation. Data collection and analysis skills. Archiving skills. Report writing skills for projects concering archaeological conservation for planning permission purposes.
