Since joining Lyft, I've had the opportunity to scale three engineering areas through hyper-growth:* As New York Site lead, took nascent engineering site from 10-100+ engineers in 12 months, helping to attract top talent in a new market while establishing a collaborative and inclusive culture.* As head of Rider Engineering, during a period of intense business growth, scaled 40 engineers to 150+ engineers in 9 months, re-organized toward customer lifecycle focused teams and successfully launched a complete redesign of the Lyft passenger app.* Since April 2019, I have been building out Lyft's Fleet engineering organization. Fleet is comprised of four business areas--fleet management, driver rentals, consumer rentals and vehicle services. I have partnered closely with business leads to build out a 100+ engineering organization to support each of these customer businesses, as well as long range strategy to build shared, best-in-class shared tools to power back office operations. I also sponsored and championed the opening of Lyft's first engineering site in Mexico City.

SoundCloud is the world's largest music and audio streaming platform. Led SoundCloud's New York engineering site until challenging business conditions forced a closure of the site.

Huge is a global digital agency providing digital design, strategy, marketing, and technology services to some of the world's largest businesses and best-known brands.As VP of Technology, I oversaw technology for a portfolio of Fortune 50 clients in working through digital transformation projects. I partnered with clients to set help set technology strategy and transform product development processes, as well as manage teams that plan and develop large-scale strategic technology products and services.

Worked on several projects with diverse clients: * Interim CTO for medium-sized Spanish technology startup. Analyzed current processes, then developed and led a successful reorganization of a 70-person org that included product management, design, engineering, operations and e-commerce teams. * Defined an app-based agile training program for a 200+ person technology organization inside a Fortune 50 financial services company. * Coaching and mentoring of several early-stage startups, in agile and lean product development.

At Lumata, I head up Product Development for Lumata's Social Content Platform (SCP), leading the teams responsible for program management, architecture, development, quality and operations using Agile and DevOps processes. SCP is massively-scalable, socially-aware media aggregation product. It's designed to let users aggregate all of their social content, while our semantic and social analysis engine provides a highly-personalized stream of recommended content.Manufacturers of televisions, PCs, tablets and mobile phones can integrate with SCP to provide their users a rich content experience across all their devices. Service is being rolled out on 30M mobile devices in 2013.
