    The Pilot Watershed project is a $15 million+ project aimed at testing the impact of large-scale agricultural conservation practice adoption on water quality. This novel conservation incentive program couples principles of social and environmental science to track predictors of conservation behavior, and their effects on nutrient runoff into surface water.As Social Science Team Lead, I collaborate with fellow behavioral and environmental scientists to design best practices for program recruitment, conservation payment structure, and quantitative evaluations of project success. While leader of this team, I have had the pleasure of coordinating with partners to direct participant recruitment, scientific literature reviews, survey construction and implementation, ethics board approval, and worked with partners in the agricultural sector to reduce barriers-to-entry for farmers and producers.
