The Pilot Watershed project is a $15 million+ project aimed at testing the impact of large-scale agricultural conservation practice adoption on water quality. This novel conservation incentive program couples principles of social and environmental science to track predictors of conservation behavior, and their effects on nutrient runoff into surface water.As Social Science Team Lead, I collaborate with fellow behavioral and environmental scientists to design best practices for program recruitment, conservation payment structure, and quantitative evaluations of project success. While leader of this team, I have had the pleasure of coordinating with partners to direct participant recruitment, scientific literature reviews, survey construction and implementation, ethics board approval, and worked with partners in the agricultural sector to reduce barriers-to-entry for farmers and producers.

Developed inaugural peer mentoring program for undergraduate psychology majors, including defining goals for the program, creating intake surveys, supervising mentors, and forming new strategies to meet equity and inclusion goals.

Lab director and graduate assistant for Dr. Michael Poulin’s Stress, Coping, and Prosocial Engagement (SCoPE) Lab -Designed, implemented, and supervised experiments in diverse topics of research, including well-being, cardiovascular measures of stress, real-world behavioral indicators of prosocial and proenvironmental behavior, trust, gratitude, empathy, awe experiences, place attachment, social stressors, and individual difference factors related to stress resilience. -Managed data collection for research projects funded by the National Science Foundation (award #1749352, Dr. Michael Poulin).-Collected data through online and in-person experiments, including field and laboratory settings. Projects also utilized large national data sets, and recruited participants locally and online through Amazon's Mechanical Turk and Research Match.-Conducted quantitative and qualitative data analysis using regression analysis, ANOVA, and structural equation modeling in command-line software like Stata.-Managed, hired, and trained up to 25 simultaneous research assistants in physiological and behavioral data collection, as well as virtual experiments and physiological data coding, with focus on creating equitable and inclusive research opportunities.-Mentored undergraduate and Master's student research projects.

Supervised and coordinated research participant pool of more than 4,000 participants and over 40 researchers. Formed and distributed mass testing surveys. Ensured ethics compliance of more than 25 simultaneous research projects.

Instructor for upper-level undergraduate psychology courses, Psychology of Environmental Hazards and Biological Bases of Behavior. Developed curricula, gave lectures, designed creative interactive activities, and assessed student progress through graded writing assignments and tests. Pedagogy focuses on fostering critical thinking skills, and an appreciation for life-long learning.
