Ryze Renewables is a privately-held independent infrastructure holding company located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ryze is active in the development, acquisition, financing, operation, and management of energy-related businesses, and industrial facilities with specific expertise in renewable fuel production.Ryze leverages its deep in-house EPC, commodities, operations & maintenance, and financial expertise to ensure (i) a disciplined approach to development and investment, deploying effective risk mitigation techniques throughout project development that minimize large-scale start up, technology, raw material supply, construction and off-take sales contract risks., (ii) projects are structured to achieve construction financial close, (iii) assets operate efficiently day-to-day upon commissioning, and (iv) the project life is extended, enhanced and maximized through intelligent development, design, engineering, construction, and operations. Ryze seeks projects that operate under long-term contracted feedstock and take-or-pay off-take agreements with credit worthy, generally investment grade buyers that are listed on a national exchange. Favor is an on-demand delivery service. Connecting online customers with delivery drivers through social networks, Favor drives additional sales by empowering collaborative and efficient communities. Famed billionaire venture investor Tim Draper and several prominent venture/private equity firms invested greater than $30m of capital to help develop the business. Favor became the first on demand delivery application to be profitable at scale. The Company was recently merged with HEB Texas Grocery for an undisclosed amount.

• Worked on six deals, including buy-side M&A, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity financings; was promoted to Associate earlier than peers due to performance and senior banker recommendations• Collaborated directly with management teams at companies to draft client presentations, build financial models and support communication between clients and prospective investors• Served as mentor for new Analysts; prepared training materials and led a course on “The Basics of Investment Banking”

Luminus Management (an affiliate of LS Power) manages over $4.9 billion in hedge fund assets using long/short equity investment strategies with a specific focus on power and utilities.• Developed an evaluation detailing the shale oil and gas plays in America and its implications on NYMEX gas prices.• Analyzed numerous “tickers” to determine whether the fund was generally on the correct side of trades, and position sizes were appropriate. Further, I evaluated whether the fund was underweight opportunities.Transaction Experience• Evaluated a $12.7mm lending credit for two solar projects in New Jersey.• Helped model the IRR sensitivities on various operational, regulatory, economic and financial assumptions.• Produced an investment committee presentation, financial materials and follow up analyses on the dynamics of the New Jersey and Massachusetts SREC market.

I assisted the financial advisors with many of the day-to-day activities. Some of my tasks included prospecting for new businesses, preparing proposals and presentations. Though a large portion of my time was dedicated to finding new clients, I was lucky to be trusted as an intern with some of the analytic work for the firm. The internship took place during the extremely volatile period of the 2011 summer, thus I was asked to analyze around a dozen of the largest and best performing funds. I participated in due diligence and conference calls for the funds in order to track the fund’s strategies and performance. This information was then used to help influence the allocations for each client’s portfolio.

Burningham Law Firm, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, is an SEC practiced firm specializing in public companies. My responsibilities involved general operational experience in the preparation and execution of public company interim (10Q) and annual reports (10K). I assisted in the writing of the reports while considering the legal standards, FINRA and Sarbanes–Oxley applied to public companies.
