Hafa Adai and Hello! My name is Christian San Nicolas, I am Senior studying Business Administration at the University of Guam. I have great communication skills and able to think on my feet for fast problem solving. Currently I am the Program Coordinator for the Micronesia Climate Change Alliance, a local non-profit organization dedicated to building community-based solutions for the climate crisis. In addition, I am a fellow with the Power Shift Network, a BIPOC Youth-led organization based out of Washington DC, whose mission is to uplift native and indigenous voices within my region of Micronesia. I have years of experience leading teams, collaborating with professionals, and influencing the strategic direction of various community projects. Currently, I am pursuing a career in Human Resources. My goal is it graduate with my bachelor’s in business administration and enter the airlines industry working as a Human Resource Representative for United Airlines. I plan to achieve this goal by taking on key roles and opportunities available to me. As a member of the local chapter of SHRM, Society for Human Resource Management, I plan to develop relationships and skills in advancing human resource practices and by maximizing human potential to build a world in which all can prosper. Please allow me to illuminate the possibilities of working with a passionate and goal driven worker such as myself. Together we can work on keeping turnover rates low, create and maintain a positive company culture, and ensure our strategic goals are met.
