Overall Project Definition has included: evaluation of market research, timing, results, and directions; competitor and product need evaluations to define product. R&D Project Planning has included: refining R&D objectives to reduce development risk and defining major project tasks and challenges. Financial planning for R&D activities: potential funding sources, financial planning for R&D, and R&D exits for minimum investment loss. Product System and Detailed Design: development of design concepts, system analysis and simulation,and participate in design reviewsProduct Production and Marketing: transition to product production and quality system needs, potential vendors, materials, production, and marketing cost evaluations.As an expert innovator he has helped many client companies with creative solutions to problems with strong emphasis on the competitive application of optical technology.
