I am a product development engineer at Ford Motor Company, working in Powertrain Installations (PTI).I graduated from Michigan Technological University with proven leadership and real-world engineering project experience. As a founding member of my high school FIRST Robotics Competition team, I played an instrumental part in the design, construction, and operation of my team’s robots for four years. Through my experience with FIRST, I received an internship at Paragon Model and Tool, Inc. during the summers of 2013 and 2014. At Paragon, I programmed CNC machining equipment, refurbished machine tools, and designed parts and tools using CAD. In January of 2015, I joined the Blue Marble Security Enterprise at MTU. My enterprise team is designing an electromechanical braking assist device for use in hybrid and electric vehicles. I have always enjoyed engineering projects, and working with automated systems in particular.I interned at Ford Motor Company during the summer of 2016 in powertrain installations. I developed and ran competitive benchmarking tests, and presented the results to management.Outside of work, I mentor a high school FIRST Robotics Competition team, and I am an Assistant Scoutmaster with Scouts BSA Troop 179.
