As a Financial Aid Professional:I provided Undergraduate and Graduate financial counseling and advisement services to both traditional and non traditional students as well as those who are new and continuing students. I also conducted and assisted with financial aid workshops and presentations for currently enrolled and prospective students.I administered, awarded, completed revisions and adjustments to awards for the financial aid programs to students, including grants, loans, and Federal Work-Study. This includes ensuring that all awards are within established parameters in accordance with federal financial aid regulations, state statutes, and institutional guidelines.Perform financial aid functions including verification, c-flag reviews, and aggregate loan breakdowns of selected student financial aid applications, as required by the United States Department of Education.
