As a part of project development team in Asia - Pacific region, main responsibilities include identify and develop relationships with local organizations, global NGOs with a regional presence; setting up formalized partnership agreements; due diligence, maintain an understanding of regional and country settings, such as government and local priorities in climate action, nature protection, restoration, and community development, as well as relevant laws and regulations; engage with national and regional government agencies; support delivery of carbon capacity building programs; seek early project ideas; contribute in the Project Idea Notes (PIN) and feasibility studies, maintain partner relationship throughout the project cycle ; support community stakeholder engagement and benefit-sharing negotiations, funding applications and investment proposals and to develop or provide input to communication products.

Project design, budgeting and PCM of sustainable landscape management and sustainable agriculture of Global Environment Facility (GEF) / United Nation’s Environment Programme (UNEP) supported “Transforming Agricultural Systems and Strengthening Local Economies in High Biodiversity Areas of India through Sustainable Landscape Management and Public-Private Finance” in the state of Karnataka. The tasks include conceptualize and implement appropriate interventions and management of partnership with stakeholders etc.

Project Cycle Management and interventions design/ planning of CSO from marginalized communities (Dalits, Tribal & Muslim Minorities) & Community Leader CB Project “Marginalized Community Led Civil Society Organizations advancing UNSDGs and Human Rights for Inclusive Development” supported by Forum SYD, SIDA.

Program Cycle Management of Humanitarian Assistance to the Flood and landslides affected communities in Wayanad District of Kerala with Shelter, WaSH and EFSVL interventions. It had significant role of coordination with IAG and convergence with local self-government for the assistance to tribal and marginalized communities.

Program Implementation / Project Cycle Management / Coordination: Provided technical management support to UNICEF Pilot Project on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management with WaSH, Nutrition and Education with District administration of Osmanabad, India (2017). Activities included designing and conducting trainings, workshops, handholding in implementation of DRR activities with 26 department stakeholders including WASH, ICDS & Education departments to address the vulnerabilities of the lower socioeconomic classes, landless / migrant laborer, women and children.

Needs assessment and programme design for mid and large sized organisations.Documentation of outcomes and impacts of water security, sanitation (WaSH) and interventions for tribal communities related to FRA 2006 (Baiga Chak, Chhattisgarh) as an input for designing next phase program (Samerth Trust, 2016)Completed Mid-term evaluation of Natural Resource based Vidarbha Sustainable Livelihoods & Forest Rights Act 2006 enhancing livelihoods of smallholder farmers and tribal communities for Paul Hamlyn Foundation UK (2016) and Axis Bank Foundation (TTC 2016)Supported UNICEF for Drought Impact Assessment in Jharkhand and Maharashtra states to study impact of drought on women, children and other vulnerable groups like smallholder farmers, landless, migrant laborer tribal etc (RedR, 2016). The study for submitted to the state and central governments in the respective states. Collective program planning and management of a consortium of 50 NGOs working on Child Rights in the region of Vidarbha with reach out to approx. 100,000 children in the region (Freelance, 2013)

Technical support, Design and establishment of monitoring & tracking system for Drought mitigation / eradication Program implemented by Government of Maharashtra in 344 developmental blocks including technical monitoring of water conservation structures and social Audit in 5,200 villages addressing the needs of farming communities especially small and marginal farmers. The report was presented to Chief Minister of state for policy improvement at state level. Program Design & Implementation of social components for Smart Village Project, an intensive high-tech agriculture-based resilient livelihood development Program for small and marginal farmers with Israeli collaboration.

Led designing and implementation of livelihoods program management system - established monitoring evaluation & learning system for the rural livelihoods mission with annual budget of INR 3200 million targeting 0,5 million poor households (specifically targeting women from landless, migrant labour, smallholder farmers and other vulnerable communities) including preparation of annual action plans, physical & financial reporting, designing Key Results Areas (KRA) matrix for 540 mission staff members.Design and coordination of baseline study focusing livelihoods and allied development issues for 10,000 vulnerable households including landless, migrant labour, smallholder farmers and other vulnerable communities across 10 intensive districts of Maharashtra for National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM).

Project Management of Vidarbha Livelihood Program supported by Oxfam Australia to enhance forest-based livelihoods for 27,717 households (Pop. 110,868) from indigenous communities, landless, migrant labours, smallholder farmers.
